'It’s Been A Painful Wait', Say's Director Meera
Director Meera Kathiravan says the wait to get his long-delayed Tamil film Vizhithiru, which stars Vidharth, Krishna and Dhansikaa, to theatres has been painful. The film's production began in 2012, but was delayed for various reasons is finally finally slated to hit the screens on October 6.
“The long wait has been painful. But we exist in an industry where the predictability is the most unpredictable word. We are blessed that we have fresh content which will appeal to audiences irrespective of when it’s released,” said Kathiravan.
Vizhithiru also features Venkat Prabhu, Thambi Ramaiah, Deiva Thirumagal fame Sara Arjun and SPB Charan in pivot roles. Goli Soda fame director and cinematographer Vijay Milton has taken care of the camera, while Sathyan Mahalingam has scored the music.
