'Baahubali: The Conclusion' Bags Record Deal For Non-Rajinikanth Film

Baahubali: The Conclusion, the sequel to the 2015 blockbuster Baahubali: The Beginning has been a highly anticipated film right from its announcement. The epic historical fantasy film directed by SS Rajamouli will see stars from the original film reprise their roles namely Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj among others.

With that said, in a never before seen development, Baahubali: The Conclusion has trounced every single film barring ones starring Rajinikanth to land a record satellite deal in Tamil Nadu - for both local and dubbed films.

It is said a popular North Indian television channel has landed the satellite rights for an eye-popping Rs 51 crores. This number is now the highest revenue for a film (dubbed and non-dubbed) barring Rajini films in the state.

What's interesting is that the satellite rights for Baahubali: The Beginning in all languages fetched Rs. 45 crore and is a testimony to how big the buzz is around this time for Baahubali: The Conclusion.

Baahubali 2 is scheduled for an April 28 release.
