We all know that the music album of Thalapathy Vijay's grand 61st film 'Mersal' will be released on August 20, 2017. It is speculated that the film's music director A.R.Rahman will perform some songs from the album live on the event. This news is yet to be confirmed. 

Now we lean another great news for Vijay and Rahman fans regarding 'Mersal' audio. Sources reveal that plans are underway to have a live telecast of the 'Mersal' audio launch in a popular Tamil TV satellite channel as well as in online platform.

Sathura Adi 3500, directed by Stephen, is an eerie thriller starring Rahman and actress Iniya, who was last seen in Vaigai Express. She plays the ghost in the movie. Plans are on to release 4 August.

Says Stephen says, 'The movie is based on true incidents which were associated with the real estate industry. Sathura Adi 3500 will touch upon the existence of ghosts and how one should approach and deal with them.

The film will also talk about the travel of our soul and its after-life. There are many interesting aspects to the story line.'

Director Senthil, who has helmed Oru Mugathirai with Rahman and Aditi Acharya in lead roles, says that the psychological thriller is based on real-life incidents. 

“In my story, Facebook is the hero and the villain too. It is about two parallel stories of a psychiatrist, who ends up becoming a psycho, and a HR from a software company.  The story unties in the second half and how the girl, who plays the psychiatrist, gets out of the situation.”
