DMK Working President MK Stalin

While attacking the AIADMK for its claim that DMK had introduced the anti-people projects, he asked, “Why the AIADMK has not scrapped them and remained silence now?” As soon as Stalin reached the Ayyanar Temple premises in Kathiramangalam, where the people have been conducting protests and hunger strikes, the women met him and showed the bottles of contaminated water collected from their area and told him that the drinking water is unsafe in the village after the leakage in the pipelines of ONGC.

There are strong indications that there may be a reshuffle of the State cabinet shortly, as the group of disgruntled MLAs, who recently met the Chief Minister, had put forth a series of demands and reminded him of the promises to them on an earlier occasion, especially at Koovathur.

Sources close to the members of the disgruntled group disclosed that the CM reportedly agreed for a reshuffle in which a few new faces might get ministerial berths and some more were likely to be given party plum posts. A major portion of it might do some good to functionaries in the central region.
