Sasikala Natarajan exit still key condition for OPS camp

Sasikala

Yet, the much-awaited merger between the factions still remains to happen.

AIADMK(PTA) leaders claimed that while they welcomed the proposal for a judicial enquiry, the person who made that statement was not from the EPS camp and he was the one who needed to be kept away from party and government. “We are looking for that announcement from the Chief Minister or his senior colleagues,” a leader from the OPS faction said.

Symbol row forces AIADMK camps to be silent on ‘beef ban’

(L) Former TN CM O Panneerselvam and (R) TN Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy

This has resulted in the AIADMK government till now not coming out with its views on the recently passed central government’s animal slaughter rule. AIADMK(PTA) faction leader and former chief minister O Panneerselvam said that the central government should not impose on the people any law which they were against. But then as he does not run the government, he can obviously speak his mind.

CM Edappadi K Palanisamy has not come out with a statement on the recent central law against slaughter of animals, as it is obvious that he does not want to get on the BJP’s wrong side.

Act on Sampath for underrating Jayalalithaa: OPS camp

AIADMK(Amma) spokesperson Nanjil Sampath

Once again, the AIADMK(Amma) spokesperson Nanjil Sampath has embarrassed the faction he represents and the rival AIADMK(PTA) leaders have lost no time in demanding Chief Minister Edappadi K Palanisamy to take action against him.

In a recent interview to a TV channel, Nanjil Sampath stated that late chief minister J Jayalalithaa did not know much about governance, as she had entrusted the state with O Panneerselvam, the then finance minister.
