As usual, party functionaries and cadres supporting her queued up on either side of the road and greeted her by scattering flowers and shouting slogans. Some of the cadre stopped her vehicle and asked Sasikala to name their children. She named two girl children as Jayashree and Jayalalithaa and two baby boys as Ramachandran and Jayakumar (the name of Jayalalithaa’s elder brother).

As the five-day parole period ended on Wednesday, and she would leave for Bengaluru Parappana Agrahara prison on Thursday morning.

On the last day of her visit to the hospital, Natarajan was still unable to speak with his wife since he had undergone a tracheostomy. Sasikala who visited the hospital, was accompanied by her relatives Krishnapriya, and Jey Anand. She stopped the car and worshipped at front of the Varasiddhi Vinayagar temple in Kotturpuram where Jayalalithaa used to worship often.

When her vehicle approached the hospital entrance, party functionaries showered flowers on her vehicle and greeted her. She had a discussion with the doctors on Natarajan’s health.
